  • Explain how has adhesive developments and CAD/CAM technology are challenging current concepts for the application of partial coverage restorations compared to full crowns
  • Explain how has CAD/CAM technology has redefined ceramic and composite materials and influenced their applications in clinical practice

Biography - Dr. Dennis Fasbinder

Dr. Fasbinder is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Cariology, Restorative Sciences and Endodontics at the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry.  He is board certified in General Dentistry by the American Board of General Dentistry.  He also maintains a part-time private practice in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Dr. Fasbinder directs the Computerized Dentistry Unit at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry that is dedicated to research and education on CAD/CAM dental systems.  The CompuDent Unit has been a leader in education and research with chairside CAD/CAM systems and digital impression systems since 1993 resulting in numerous publications.

Dr. Fasbinder is a frequent speaker on ceramic-based dentistry and digital dental systems at meetings and conferences in North America and International locations.
